his 2007 Chevy Express 3500 has only 76,000 miles on it and was fully converted 2 years ago and has been minimally used since. This is my 4th conversion and had originally planned to sell it right away but decided to do a few short trips before letting it go. I love the size of this bus as it is easy to drive (similar to a van) and can fit lots of places a larger rig can’t. I fully gutted the interior of the bus and insulated everywhere I could with Thinsulate and rigid foam. It has a nice wood interior that makes it feel more like a cabin than a bus. The ceiling height is 6 feet. There are multiple outlets, lights, a rooftop fan, water pump, and Dometic 12V fridge that run off the 320 watts of solar on the roof. The 200 amp hour battery is also charged from the engine while driving and can be plugged in when parked. The electrical system also has a 2000w pure sine wave inverter/charger, so along with the multiple 12v outlets there are 120v outlets as well. There is a 20 gallon fresh water tank, and a propane 2 burner stove. The bus comes with a portable RV toilet (brand new) and a Propex HS2000 propane heater (not installed). There is a queen size bed, removable swivel table, and the couch has 2 lap seatbelts. Multiple cabinets and a large under bed area give this small bus plenty of storage space. This is a sharp looking skoolie and is ready to go on many adventures.
